marrenarre: The only reason I ask is that it will load the compiled code if present -- usually it's smart about not loading it when it's out of date though.
Cale 2017-02-18 15:47:36
marrenarre: But generally, it can't load code which doesn't exist because it's been replaced on the disk. So if it's somehow loading stuff which is out of date, then make sure your editor is saving to the correct location.

ReinH: Interactively in bash.
ReinH 2017-02-18 15:52:38
What did you type?
marrenarre 2017-02-18 15:52:46
pikajude: Vim in urxvt.
marrenarre 2017-02-18 15:52:53
ReinH: clear; runhaskell parser.hs
ReinH 2017-02-18 15:53:23
is this something you can reproduce consistently?
marrenarre 2017-02-18 15:53:41
There is also a compiled file parser-hs, but that can't be it since it's more outdated than the things GHC tell me anyway, and the current code in parser.hs gives me type errors.
marrenarre 2017-02-18 15:56:14
ReinH: Well I'm not noticing the problem anymore right now.
ReinH 2017-02-18 16:04:02
Glad I could help ;)
marrenarre 2017-02-18 16:09:44
Haha.
qmm 2017-02-18 16:38:08
"Implement Functor instances for Either e and ((->) e)."
qmm 2017-02-18 16:38:30
i'm confused by this since it is Either a b, not Either e
ezyang 2017-02-18 16:38:52
Functor is on * -> * kinded thing
qmm 2017-02-18 16:38:57
i'm guessing it's something like ((,) e)
ezyang 2017-02-18 16:38:58
Either a b :: *; but Either a :: * -> *
qmm 2017-02-18 16:39:10
okay
qmm 2017-02-18 16:39:29
thanks ezyang, i'll try it out
